Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Englewood, Colorado. The role involves handling accounting functions in the industry, specifically focusing on accounts payable tasks. The successful candidate will be working in a dynamic environment, utilizing accounting software systems, and building relationships with vendors.Responsibilities: Oversee the process of account coding to ensure accuracy in financial records Utilize accounting software systems such as ADP - Financial Services, Concur, ERP for efficient management of accounts payable Regularly perform 3 Way Matching, credit card reconciliation, and credit card payments to maintain financial accuracy Enter vendor invoices in the system and ensure they are paid in a timely manner Manage vendor relationships effectively to ensure smooth transactions Implement construction accounting practices where necessary Use Viewpoint Vista for managing accounts payable functions efficiently Address and resolve any issues related to accounts payable Maintain an organized and efficient system for tracking and paying invoices Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
