Description Tax Preparers seeking opportunities in the CA Firm - Business Management field near the Elizabeth, Colorado area, should apply today through Robert Half. As the Tax Preparer, you will be the person in charge of the preparation of simple and complex, individual and small business State and Federal tax returns. Ensure client information is up to date/documents
Type appropriate data into Tax software application
Fulfill other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned
Perform a total count and invoice for form preparation fees
Prepare transaction tax returns utilizing various methods (Paper, E File, EDI Upload) with various government agencies manually
Provide assistance to clients with incoming calls, tax questions, and set appointments Requirements - Strong communication and social skills
Capable of working independently with minimal oversight
Solid understanding of individual taxes
Proficiency in tax returns
Partnership tax experience required
Ultra Tax experience preferred
Competent with spreadsheets and databases
Ability to multitask and attention to detail are critical
Experience with high volume data entry
AA or BS/BA in Accounting or finance preferred
