Job Description
We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our team! You will be responsible for the management and delivery Commercial, Power, Healthcare, and Retail related projects across various departments. The Project Engineer works on the construction site and is responsible for all on-site project administration. In this role, the Project Engineer will report to and receive support from the Project Manager in that daily project administration. The Project Engineer is responsible for managing the Office Engineers and the Project Administrator.Essential job functions include: Materials management including submittals, shop drawings, tracking/expediting material deliveries Preparation of monthly Owner Pay Application Run weekly Owner/Architect/Contractor meeting and staff meetings Assist with monthly margin analysis Manage, train and mentor Office Engineers Develop, manage and maintain cost controls and labor recaps in conjunction with the Project Manager and Project Superintendent Assist in development and updates to the project schedule Process, estimate and negotiate change orders with the owner and subcontractors Quality control and support of our safety planPreferred qualifications: Strong communication skills Computer software - Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel based templates, Procore, Primavera and AutoCAD Minimum of 3-6 years' experience on large commercial construction projects A 4 year degree in Civil, Structural, Architecture or Construction ManagementVacancy caducado!
