Project Coordinator for Art Studio

Colorado, Denver, 80221 Denver USA
Aplica ya

We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator with strong writing skills to oversee our custom/commission projects, craft monthly Mailchimp newsletters, and other communication-focused endeavors. This position is in-person, full-time with benefits and based at our studio in Englewood.

// OVERVIEW //

We seek a driven, detail-oriented, client-facing team member to manage our custom artwork program by liaising with high-end clients to ensure a seamless experience from project inception through artwork delivery.

// JOB DESCRIPTION //

The Project Coordinator (or PC) role is a multifaceted communications-meets-client care role. The PC works directly with clients to facilitate their acquisition of commissioned artworks. Often, these are repeat buyers who reach out to request something special to celebrate a milestone; other times, these are brand new buyers who are unfamiliar with our process and style. In both instances, the PC acts as a personal guide along the journey of commissioning a custom piece of artwork.

The PC acts as the liaison between client and artist, facilitating a conversation that elicits the perfect piece for that client in the artist’s unique style. For this reason, it is important that the PC possess strong written and verbal communication skills, an ability to discern subtle details, and a knack for succinctly explaining processes, timelines and ideas.

Working through our task management software Asana, the PC is responsible for building out tasks and timelines for these custom works and for other client-facing events.

The PC will also assist with outbound studio communications, primarily by drafting MailChimp email newsletters to past and potential clients, as well as copyediting for web and other marketing communications.

// IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS //

You do not need to demonstrate all of these qualifications to apply. We encourage applications from those who feel their related experience or knowledge could be a good fit, even if not exactly as stated below.

Experience working with high-end clients and/or in a white-glove customer relations setting: asking the right questions, developing the project scope, providing pricing estimates.

Experience generating project proposals.

Experience in professional/business writing (grant writing, technical writing, creative writing, copywriting, editing, etc would also be helpful skills).

Five-star customer service: an ability to uphold our standard of unparalleled service to our clients, ensuring that each interaction reflects the company's commitment to high-touch interactions and personalized solutions.

Experience using a customer relationship management platform (CRM; currently, we use OnePage).

Proficiency with a project management platform (currently, we use Asana) and a willingness to learn existing protocols while offering a fresh perspective for possible improvements. This role will help facilitate the creation of custom works by a workflow created through Asana, along with building out other projects in Asana as requested.

Able to create and follow a workflow to keep deliverables on track, communicating updates and scheduling externally to clients and vendors, and internally to the studio team.

An ability to break a larger project into component parts, then schedule and delegate. This includes artwork production, events, studio visits, etc.

Experience using web-based photo editing and graphic design platforms (Canva, Picmonkey) or PhotoShop a plus; this role will assist with the creation of several monthly e-newsletters, so proficiency in photo editing, cropping, and basic file creation will be beneficial.

Experience using Mailchimp or a similar email newsletter platform. This role will work with Ali Marie to generate cohesive, easy-to-read marketing blasts and help maintain audience lists, tags and segments.

A working knowledge of the fine arts/home decor/interior design industry is a bonus; at a minimum, an interest in the field and a willingness to learn industry terms and language specific to the artist.

An ability to take notes and synthesize next steps during (often fast-paced) meetings.

Flexibility, ability to receive regular constructive feedback and willingness to take on additional responsibilities to assist within the scope of the administrative team when needed.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience in a similar role.
