Overview
The licensed electrician will install the AC component of the solar PV project, lay out and install the balance of system equipment (BOS); inverter, meter housings, disconnects, AC combiner panel, interconnection, raceways, wiring, voltage testing and makes sure the system is compliant with NEC and AHJ requirements. The Licensed Electrician will complete all of the required paperwork and communicate the necessary job status to the Master Electrician to assure the successful installation of a complete and working system.
Qualifications:
A minimum of a valid State of Colorado Residential Wireman’s License
Experience reading and interpreting one line drawings and electrical schematics
Complete quality installation based upon design specifications
Knowledge of the NEC specifically regarding PV
Capable of lifting 50 lbs. throughout the workday
Must be professional and have clean appearance
Previous experience installing solar batteries (LG, Sonnen, SolarEdge, Enphase) preferred
Requirements:
Ability to follow instructions; respond to management direction
Train and oversee apprentices
Ensure Safety of crew members and job site
Must have working experience replacing residential electrical services and distribution panels
Must be willing and able to climb ladders and work in confined spaces
Work with up to 1000 Volts DC and 480 Volts AC
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
