Shock Rehab is a dedicated 4x4 shop specializing in off-road suspension, shock rebuilds, and performance upgrades. Whether it’s a trail rig, desert toy, or daily driver with a lift, we take pride in delivering exceptional service and quality craftsmanship.
We’re currently hiring a Service Writer to be the frontline connection between our customers and the shop floor. If you’re organized, knowledgeable about 4x4 systems, and can translate complex repairs into confident customer communication, this role is for you.
Job Responsibilities:
Greet and communicate with customers in person, by phone, and by email
Write clear, accurate service orders and work estimates
Discuss suspension, drivetrain, and shock service needs with customers
Schedule appointments, manage the shop calendar, and keep jobs on track
Liaise between customers and technicians to ensure clarity and quality
Work with vendors to order parts
Track parts orders and follow up on job status
Maintain digital records of work orders and parts
Help with front desk duties and day-to-day operations
Qualifications:
Experience in a service writer/advisor or customer service role (automotive preferred)
General knowledge of 4x4 systems, suspension, and off-road modifications
Comfortable with estimating labor time and parts costs
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Clear, professional communication style (written and verbal)
