Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Scaffold Builders to provide leadership, instruction, and guidance to other craft workers in a work crew. The ideal candidate will assist their Foreman be responsible for constructing and dismantling scaffolding structures that provide safe access for workers and materials on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople to ensure project success. Work sites are across the Front Range from Pueblo to Fort Collins, any pay is dependent upon demonstrated experience in a scaffold lead role.

Duties

Assemble and disassemble scaffolding systems according to blueprints, project specifications and safety standards.

Inspect scaffolding for security, damage, and stability before use while conducting regular inspections for safety compliance.

Secure scaffolding to building structures using fasteners and ties.

Collaborate with Foremen and other construction teams to ensure scaffolding meets project requirements while working as a journeyman.

Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while working at heights.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Examine and gather materials and tools according to project specifications.

Inspect base surfaces for obstructions and ensure safe working conditions.

Load, transport, and unload materials as required.

Rig materials as needed.

Plan work and select proper tools.

Experience/Skills

Must be bi-lingual

Previous experience as a scaffold building lead is required.

Work at heights without fear.

Ability to easily lift and carry 40-50 pounds.

Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for scaffold assembly.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints for accurate scaffold construction.

Strong understanding of safety practices in the construction industry is essential.

Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is beneficial for effective execution of tasks.

Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving within a fast-paced environment.

Transportation reliable enough to support sites across the Front Range.
