We are seeking Denver Metro’s best-of-the-best, experienced and customer-driven Residential Irrigation Technicians to join our team in Littleton, Colorado. In this role, you will perform premium-quality, 5-star residential irrigation system services, including irrigation system maintenance, repair, design, and installation. Your focus will be optimizing existing irrigation systems to help homeowners protect valuable landscape and structural assets from flooding, erosion, and drought while ensuring curb appeal of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities
-Identify what it takes to tailor any irrigation system perfectly to the customer’s landscape requirements.
-Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of residential irrigation systems and components, including: copper plumbing, backflow prevention devices, controllers, valves, wiring, piping, sprinkler heads, and matched precipitation nozzles.
-Design, repair, and upgrade efficient and sustainable irrigation zones tailored to customer landscapes and water usage requirements.
-Assess irrigation zones/systems with a focus on water conservation, efficient head layout, matched precipitation coverage, and proper controller programming.
-Conduct irrigation system inspections to ensure optimal performance, identify issues, recommend improvements, and perform immediate repairs/upgrades.
-Complete digital inspection reports, geo-mapping, and photographic documentation of your work.
-Collaborate effectively with the Field Services Team - keep Dispatch updated on your progress and request Sales/Design support when the job requires a second set of eyes.
-Perform seasonal services such as system startups, winterization, and mid-season tune-ups, recognizing that every service is an opportunity for improvement and helping the customer realize their landscape goals.
-Ensure compliance with local regulations and best practices for water usage and irrigation system installation.
-Provide exceptional, 5-star customer service by explaining system functions, repair recommendations, work performed, and maintenance tips to homeowners.
-Maintain thorough, accurate digital records of service visits, repairs, system upgrades, parts inventory and payments received.
-Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles used in irrigation work.
Required Qualifications
-Proven experience in residential irrigation system service, design, and installation (5+ years preferred).
-Expert knowledge of irrigation system design and components, including controllers, backflows, valves, wiring, sensors, pumps, sprinklers, and nozzles.
-Familiarity with industry best practices and local water conservation regulations.
-Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to irrigation system installation and repair, including but not limited to: hand tools, power tools, multimeters, wire locators, pipe pullers, and other light machinery.
-Proficiency with iPad, Google Drive, Google Calendar, and the ability to use/navigate Field Service Management Software (like Jobber).
-Ability to read and interpret work orders, landscape designs and blueprints.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-Strong communication and customer service skills.
-Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
-Ability to pass certification for backflow preventer device service/installation.
-Certification in irrigation system installation or repair is a plus (e.g., IA Certified Irrigation Technician).
-Must clear all applicable background checks.
Physical Requirements
-Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
-Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing physical tasks such as digging and bending.
