Basic Requirements of a Journeyman Electrician:
Possesses a current and valid Colorado Electrical Journeyman license.
Working knowledge & ensures compliance with 2023 NEC, local & state codes, various construction types and safe workplace practices.
Fabricates and assembles electrical systems utilizing hand tools on active construction sites.
Experience installing various wiring methods and raceway systems in commercial applications.
Demonstrates understanding of current lighting, lighting controls, fire alarm and structured cabling systems.
Possesses working knowledge of trade partners means and methods, materials and equipment.
Demonstrates the ability and desire to train apprentice electricians on the project sites.
Experience reading and interpretating drawings and specifications.
Effective oral communication skills.
Independent self-starter with solution driven approach thought process.
Increase client satisfaction by working within our TQM program.
Clean MVR and current driver license.
Minimum Physical Requirements
Perform physical work both outside and indoors where dust, dirt, debris, inclement weather, large temperature variations, noise, hazards and the like are present.
Work at heights from ladders, scaffolding & aerial lifts, within tight & confined spaces and other similar locations.
Operating machinery such as forklift & backhoe, hand tools, power tools, benders and tuggers.
Walk, stand, grasp, pull, lift, climb (including stairs), balance, squat, bend, kneel, sit and crouch.
Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds independently, work for prolonged period of time on feet while wearing a tool belt and other physically demanding activities.
