Job Description for Ground Maintenance Lead
-Job Summary
A Maintenance Crew Leader will maintain our commercial and residential accounts by mowing, sting trimming, edging, shrub trimming, etc. The ideal candidate will oversee 2 to 7 people on a crew at any given time.
You will inspect different equipment and perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required. Maintain good relationships with all customers and employees. Lead the ground crew and ensure we are staying on schedule and report any property issues to your manager.
Duties include and are susceptible to change
-Communicating daily with upper management
-Offer suggestions for performance evaluation; oversee the duties of designated crew members
-Ensure the maintenance of equipment and tools in a clean, secure, and appropriate working condition and that the equipment is in safe using condition
-Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment and report any issues seen outside of work task performed while working
-Performing preventative maintenance
-Report to work on time
Requirements
-Experience with riding/standing mowers
-Must have 1 year minimum experience as a Crew Leader
-No scheduling conflicts, must be able to work up to 50 hours per week and possible weekends
-Positive attitude and work ethic
-Must be able to work at a fast pace in the heat of summer on a daily basis
-Ability to lift 50lbs
-Valid Colorado Driver’s License with a clean driving record
We are a four-season company, which means we also provide Snow Removal services throughout the months of October to March. We will need someone to be able to work with our sidewalk crews to get our commercial and residential snow removal completed when there is snow fall.
-Hours are depended on the snow fall
-On call at all times throughout the winter so employee needs to be available 24/7 during winter storms
-Once triggers are met crews will be actioned to come in
-May include use of a company vehicle
