GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Performs a variety of routine corrective and scheduled preventative maintenance activities on building, equipment, electrical, and plumbing, and fire protection systems to ensure safe and efficient continuation of facility and equipment operations with all applicable regulatory and accrediting agencies including the requirements of Occupational Health and Safety.

Administration (OSHA) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Assists in the initial receipt, inspection, and installation of operational support equipment.

Schedules and tracks building, equipment, electrical, plumbing and fire protection maintenance activities.

Responds to environmental monitoring systems and handles routine facility and equipment help desk service requests.

Review and follow Standard Operational Procedures including staying up to date with changes

High integrity and demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interface with other departments in a team environment.

Performs other miscellaneous duties and responsibilities to support laboratory and facility operations and equipment as assigned.

Meets basic expectations of Eurofins’s quality management system, including, but not limited to good workmanship, adherence to standard operational procedures, training, good documentation practices, accurate recordkeeping so the company may meet its stated quality policy and objectives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

High School diploma or GED equivalent required.

Associate degree or formal trade related training or education preferred.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

1-3 years of facility maintenance or equipment repair experience.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Effective time management and organizational skills.

Basic Excel, Outlook, and data entry skills.

Ability to perform routine facility and equipment maintenance.

Ability to work in a controlled environment utilizing aseptic techniques.

Ability to work within quality systems under regulatory requirements.

POTENTIAL ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS

This laboratory carefully maintains all hazardous materials. All employees must abide by Eurofins DPT’s Safety and Exposure procedures. This includes using the provided safety clothing and equipment.
