Roy Jackson Electric, Inc, is hiring Working electrical foreman
Servicing the Denver-Metro area and specializing in new core and shell constructions 40,000SF to 500,000SF, underground installations, office warehouse TI projects, remodel, ground up process and delivery facilities, fuel islands, paint booths and similar hazardous locations and electrical demo.
Compensation is $35-$50/hr. (DOE), Vacation time, Sick pay, holiday pay, insurance coverage and profit-sharing program. Opportunities for year-end bonus, company vehicle, phone, and industry related continuing education.
Job Description: Electrical Contractor is seeking a team player with strong electrical knowledge and leadership skills to fill an open electrical foreman position.
Responsibilities:
Deliver a neat, clean, and safe project from plan/specifications and addenda to completion
Review all drawings and submittals
Complete solo projects and manage crews of up to 20
Verify all work is NEC compliant
Ensure crews work safely and wear proper PPP
Meet construction schedule and milestones
Communicate with onsite superintendent and other trades for day-to-day scheduling and changes to project
Inventory job packages and keep job site stocked with necessary materials
Schedule and pass required electrical inspections in sequence
Oversee and verify electrical services 100A-4000A
Verify and connect utilization equipment
Electrical trim, power and lighting
Trouble shoot electrical wiring
Install low voltage lighting controls
Document daily work sheets and as built drawings
Coordinate with sub-contractors
Job Requirements:
Valid Colorado Driver license
Must have valid Colorado journeyman electrical license
Must be punctual and able to work full work week, available for overtime and weekends expected
Must be drug free
Must be able to communicate/motivate and schedule employees
Must be responsible and able to supervise and verify all electrical work done on project
Able to lift and move 50lbs intermittently all day
Able to work off ladder and lifts and able to crawl over/under obstacle on hands and knees if necessary
Able to walk on uneven surfaces
Able to operate forklifts, trenchers and Mini ex
Must be able to dig in support of underground installs
Must work in all weather conditions and have steady reliable transportation
Must have typical tools for journeyman electrician including but not limited to hand tools, drill, saw and hand benders.
