CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT - for Commercial General Contractor
DESCRIPTION: We are a seeking a field superintendent for our commercial and institutional construction projects. Our projects range up to $50M in size.
QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate must have the following:
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
3 years minimum proven superintendent experience with a ground up commercial general contractor.
Experience with and a proficient understanding of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil plans, sections, cuts, details, and specifications.
Ability to schedule and coordinate with Subcontractors, Suppliers, Project Managers, Architects, Owners, Engineers, and Consultants.
The capability to perform minor demo, install doors, frames, hardware, and bath accessories, as well perform building layout.
The capability to create and monitor a weekly schedule for all trades and suppliers, create and process RFI's, Change Orders, etc, file daily reports, and electronically process photos and project files.
A keen eye for quality and non-quality workmanship, defects, errors, and safety procedures.
The capability of solving mathematical and site related problems.

How to operate and maintain heavy machinery and construction equipment
Knowledge of OSHA requirements/(OSHA certificates)/OSHA inspections.
Knowledge and experience with building layout instruments.
Experience with computer programs (CAD, Excel, Work, Scheduling, Take Off)
