Construction Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled construction specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction projects, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards. Duties:

- Utilize technology provided like email and photo management software

- Provide consistent daily and weekly job updates

- Perform stucco application and repairs as needed.

- Assist with flooring installation and other types of flooring work.

- Support in the installation of various construction materials, including tile, insulation, cabinets, drywall, lights, countertops, baseboards, and more.

- Pull permits as needed for projects

- Collaborate with project managers, team members, and customers

- Work closely with carpenters on projects requiring woodworking skills.

- Participate in efforts to maintain a safe work environment.

- Contribute to metal stud and wood stud framing tasks as part of the construction process.

- Assist in plumbing tasks under supervision.

- Utilize skills for general maintenance and repairs.

- Follow schematics and blueprints to complete assigned tasks accurately.

Skills:

- Proven experience in stucco application and repairs.

- Proficiency in flooring installation techniques.

- Knowledge of various construction materials and their installation processes including tile, insulation, cabinets, drywall, lights, countertops, baseboards, and more.

- Experience working as a carpenter or similar role is advantageous.

- Familiarity with safety procedures is a plus.

- Ability to perform metal stud and wood stud framing accurately and efficiently.

- Basic understanding of plumbing systems and components.

- Strong skills for general maintenance tasks.

- Capability to read and interpret construction schematics and blue prints.
