We are looking for the right person that wants a career. We have an opening for construction helper/apprentices in our unique and signature products. We beautify homes with architectural limestone, limestone mantels, Venetian Plastering, fireplaces and remodeling. This position is full time with the potential to have a great career with an awesome growing company. The ideal person must have a positive coachable attitude, be a self starter, eager to learn and follow precise direction. Must have dependable transportation. Plastering or stone experience is not required but construction experience is an absolute must. Must be trustworthy and reliable. Aria is a drug free company.
Over the course of apprenticeship, you will learn; Authentic Venetian Plastering, decorative masonry, elements of framing and drywall, specialized Aria proprietary custom stone work, fireplace installation and more. The successful candidate will be required to take a drug test.
Additional Position Information: Entry level apprenticeship position that will be responsible for the majority of the physical labor in the first year while being introduced to and learning about Aria’s products, installation methods and work ethic .
$18.00 to $22.00/hr to start depending on experience.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Demonstrate an ability and willingness to learn the aspects of supporting the senior limestone installers, senior Venetian plaster finishers, and other tasks as assigned.
Become skilled with proper use of Company tools and small equipment.
Clean and maintain integrity of Company tools and equipment
Perform housekeeping duties around the jobsite and Company premises
Become familiar with the concept of material staging
Demonstrate safe work practices at all times
Demonstrate Aria’s core values of Safety, Integrity and Exceptional Service
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
Must have 3 years minimum construction experience
Set individual goals and participate in team goals
Be a productive team member
Demonstrate ability to plan and organize
Accommodate a flexible schedule, including but not limited to extended hours and occasional weekend work
Communicate effectively via phone and email
Be punctual, inquisitive, proactive and highly self-motivated while participating with the crew in producing a quality product in a skillful manner
Maintain a drug-free status throughout employment

Develop and cultivate effective interpersonal skills
Must be able to:
Lift and carry up to 100 pounds
Lift and carry 50 pounds throughout the work day
Work at heights on scaffolding and ladders
Stand, kneel and bend repetitively for prolonged periods of time
Handle long hours
No smoking or foul language on jobsites at any time
