Well established commercial glass company looking to fill an immediate shop fabricator role. There would be the possibility of quick advancement into a shop foreman position. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years experience in like position. Would be familiar with the process of fabrication of a wide array of various curtain wall and storefront systems: from bringing in and unloading full 24' 2" stock lengths, identifying and cutting material from an optimized cut list, punching and prepping the aluminum extrusions, back vinyl frames and loading on/ into a truck and delivering to job site.
Daily responsibilities would also include maintaining the shop and equipment. Unloading several deliveries daily and staging materials, keeping the shop organized clean and safe. And working directly with the field glaziers to provide them with materials. Experience with glass cutting fabrication would be a plus. A valid drivers license would be required.
