Nauhaus Industries is a family owned millwork shop located in Denver, Colorado. We produce high end commercial millwork, office, and restaurant fixtures. We are currently seeking an experienced Millwork/Cabinet Assistant Finisher to join our team! The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the finishing process to ensure high-quality wood products are produced efficiently. Job Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in sanding, staining, and finishing woodwork according to specifications
Prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding, filling and sealing.
Apply stains, paints, varnishes, or other finishes to wood surfaces.
Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary touch-ups.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Assist Finisher in other tasks as needed to meet production deadlines.
Job Requirements:
Previous experience working in a woodworking or finishing environment.
Knowledge of wood finish techniques and materials
Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and craftsmanship
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and take direction
Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Certification or training in woodworking or finishing techniques
Experience with spray finishing equipment
