Local, Well-Known Talk Show Host is Launching a Podcast!
Looking for an experienced, versatile Producer to work with host to plan out and execute daily live shows, book guests, cull through stories/topics, and screen callers during the show.
After the show the Producer will be responsible for pulling clips from the Pod and exporting Digital Shorts for web syndication. Each week has five (5) two hour shows, one 35-40 minute straight podcast (a deeper dive with one of the guests from that week) plus two to three 15 minute minipods for a subscription audience.
SKILLS: Ability to work independently, and collaboratively with a team; effective organizational habits; are technical with an ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; driven and goal-oriented; excellent communicator, both verbal and written; and solid leadership skills.
The Producer role is a 5 day a week in-studio opportunity. This is NOT a remote position. We are projecting the Producer Role will require 25 +/- hours a week. The daily 2 hour Podcast will take place weekday Mornings with additional content captured after the daily shows. The project will happen at a studio in S. Denver. The location is convenient to RTD Light Rail and Bus lines.
