Job Summary:

The IT Operations Supervisor will play a pivotal role in our organization's success by overseeing a range of critical responsibilities. You will lead the establishment of a centralized project management dashboard, tracking project KPIs, and ensuring the health of our projects. Your ability to cultivate positive relationships with key stakeholders and communicate effectively will be essential as you collaborate with internal teams to align IT initiatives with their needs. Your innovative thinking will contribute to our strategic plans, improving support processes and ROIs. Additionally, you'll assist with overseeing the IT Help Desk, resolve escalated issues, manage vendor contracts and software licenses, and maintain data backup and system security operations. Your strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, will be instrumental in our ongoing success, ensuring high-quality customer service and effective project management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Create and establish a centralized project management dashboard for the IT department

Track and reports project KPIs and analyze project health

Identify key stakeholders ensuring the establishment and maintenance of positive business relationships among stakeholders

Communicate with stakeholders to get and provide relevant updates and information

Contribute to the strategic plan through innovative ideas on how to improve support processes and ROIs

Attend meetings with internal teams to better understand their needs and projects and how they relate to the work the IT team is doing

Maintain regular communication with customers, addressing needs through empathy with their environment

Oversee the IT Help Desk, resolve issues escalated by IT Technicians

Communicate regularly with IT Director when budget and/or scope changes

Assess system performance and recommend improvements

Manage contracts with vendors (e.g. development platforms, telecommunication companies, password managers) and software licenses

Assist Director of IT in the development of IT policies, procedures, and standards

Oversee data backup and system security operations (e.g. user authorization, firewalls, disaster recovery plans)

Plan, direct and coordinate the design, installation, upgrades, configurations and connectivity of computer systems and network infrastructure

Requirements

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or science/technology discipline preferred.

Proven experience in IT Operations, and a minimum of three years IT or technical experience

Thorough knowledge of network and cloud computing

Team leadership experience

Strong organizational skills

Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to lead a team, conduct training, and communicate technical information to a wide variety of constituents.

Track record of delivering high customer service

Ability to lift 75lbs

Project Management Experience.

Microsoft Office GCC 365 support/administration w teams calling.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times.
