Full-Time Driver Team Lead (Supervisor)

Job Summary: The Driver Team Lead will oversee and assist the team in the performance of their job duties to deliver orders to customers in a safe and efficient manner while practicing exceptional customer service.Shift Availability: Must be available Saturdays &Sundays andSupervisory Responsibilities:Assists with hiring, coaching, training, and discipline of teammatesOversees the daily workflow; oversees scheduling and assignments of the assigned team.Provides constructive and timely performance feedback to teammates.Duties/Responsibilities:Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day.Loads delivery vehicle with parcels scheduled for delivery.Supports Manager with day to day operations, including routing assignmentsDelivers orders to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary.Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor.Communicates with drivers and other teammates to make deliveries and resolve any issuesAssists in general warehouse duties when delivery route is completed.Prepares knowledge-based documents such as summaries and responses to frequently asked questions.Keeps teammates informed about rules, regulations, policies, and objectives.Collaborates with the team to identify ways to improve department effectiveness;implements viable ideas.Resolves conflicts that arise among team members and/or other employees.Performs other related duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent management and interpersonal skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to motivate team to accomplish objectives.Ability to solve conflicts among coworkers.Ability to remain organized.Thorough understanding of warehouse procedures and regulations.Preferred Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.At least two years of warehouse, retail, delivery, fulfillment, or hospitality experience required.Previous experience in a supervisory role preferred.Food Manager certification preferred.Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.Prolonged periods sittingMust be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting,standing, walking, reaching, and carrying.Exposure to variable temperatures such as cold present in a refrigerated environment.Must be able to load and unload packages with and without dollies in various types of weather.Please apply online with Pinemelon.com at: https://pinemelon.rippling-ats.com/job/756926/full-time-driver-team-lead-supervisor?s=cl
