Position Description:

To provide all Eagle Claw consumers with friendly customer service while supporting many of the company’s sales and marketing efforts as needed through the store. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment in the store.

Knowledge/Skill and Experience

High school diploma or GED required

Must be able to read, write and have good math skills

Must have legible handwriting

Demonstrate organizational skills

Must have customer service skills

Product knowledge of fishing, fishing styles and techniques, seasonality, and passion for fishing is required.

Prefer basic knowledge of Oracle

Retail experience and leadership preferred

Essential Duties:

Provide excellent customer service to all customers shopping in the store and online.

Take telephone product orders, process the order and ship to customers.

Responsible for fulfillment end of all company website, and social media consumer sales.

Ensure orders are processed correctly and all orders are finalized with shipping information back to the customers.

Handle monetary transactions with accuracy.

Lead the company’s warranty replacement/repair program ensuring happy end consumers while saving the company money in the defective rod and reel category.

Check in new merchandise, price, and displays for sale.

Restock sales floor when necessary

Ensure neat and organized appearance of selling floor.

Assist with shipping duties.

Pull new stock items and makes sure items have been transferred to Factory Store.

Pull and pack rush sample requests as needed from sales and or marketing departments.

Assist with product pulls and packing for large show sample requests as needed.

Serve as backup handling the company’s info-line emails for Factory Store Supervisor.

Manage the Company’s Pro Staff, Captain/Guide, and Pro-Forma orders working with the Order Management Department and Digital Marketing Coordinator.

Maintain accurate information for these groups, ensuring all contact information and documentation is correct and sales are tracked.

Other Duties

Responsible for quality control complaints from customers, sends to quality for further investigations, determines how to fix or replace product for customer.

Prepares product for special programs and events.

Closes credit card machine.

Separates charge and cash receipts. Counts out minimum for cash drawer.

Assists with filing.

Install new product in the P.O.S. system.

Execute Full Physical store inventories as deemed necessary by the company’s controller.

Other duties as assigned.

Physical Environment and Working Conditions

Must be able to walk and/or stand for the length of the shift.

Must be able to use arms to reach up and/or out over head and shoulders, push, pull, bend and lift.

Must be mentally alert in a warehouse filled with heavy equipment

Indoor retail office environment

May be required to work in warehouse occasionally in temperatures of extreme hot and cold and may be dusty

May be on feet for long hours

Must be capable of lifting 10-20 lbs. frequently, and up to 65 lbs. occasionally.
