We’re looking for an experienced Ace Hardware manager ready to take on a leadership role with autonomy, meaningful community connection, and support from ownership that cares deeply about your success.
As our Store Manager, you’ll lead day-to-day operations, mentor team members, drive inventory excellence, and ensure outstanding customer experience. We’re seeking someone with specific Ace Hardware experience, particularly in inventory systems (Epicor and Eagle), store operations, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all store operations, team performance, and customer satisfaction
Manage inventory using Ace systems (Epicor, Eagle, RSC ordering, outside vendors, etc.)
Implement cycle counts, inventory planning, and vendor relations
Train and mentor staff to build a strong, motivated team
Ensure safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and adherence to Ace brand standards
Drive store profitability through sales performance and community engagement
Maintain strong relationships with Ace corporate support and local partners
What You Bring
Proven experience in Ace Hardware store management or assistant management
Strong working knowledge of Ace systems (Epicor, RSC tools, POS platforms)
Experience in inventory management and methods, team leadership, and operational excellence
Clear communicator with strong problem-solving and coaching skills
Willingness to relocate to a small mountain town in Colorado and engage with a tight knit community with visitors from all over the world.
