Monarch Investment is actively interviewing for a Multifamily Housing Property Inspector/Analyst to join our growing team in Franktown, CO. This is a fantastic entry-level or above position for someone who desires variety in their job description, while learning from industry leaders in a stable and growing company.

In this role not only will you be learning and physically performing property inspections from top to bottom, but also producing inspection reports and ensure pressing items on those inspection reports are mitigated prior to certain deadlines by our property managers. Additionally, you will perform analysis of the inspections for forthcoming capital needs.

This role requires approximately 50%+ travel throughout our nationwide portfolio – When not traveling you will office on-site at our Franktown, CO offices.

Responsibilities:

Performs full-scale physical building and site inspections

Notes, analyzes, and reports on inspection results, including code, compliance, and Monarch best practice violations or improvements necessary

Coordinates with site and/or corporate staff to develop corrective work plans to resolve issues

Sets time-frame for resolution of issues and follows up with site staff to ensure all repairs/alterations are addressed and cured to Monarch standard

Partners with team leadership to research, update, and disseminate building code compliance requirements across multiple states

Coordinates with and directs third-party vendors as needed to mitigate or remedy health or safety concerns Researches and recommends effective safety products/techniques that may add value

Partners with team leadership to strategize, develop, execute on, and manage ad-hoc operational initiatives and ancillary projects

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in real estate, analytics, building/construction management and/or related field or 4+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree is required

Construction background or knowledge of constructions practices is preferred

Intermediate to advanced level MS Suite skills (particularly Excel – VLOOKUP, Pivots, Formulas, etc.)

Working knowledge and passion for construction processes, analytics, construction equipment and building materials

Exceptional critical thinking skills, work ethic, and project management skills

Compensation and Benefits:

Industry competitive compensation based on experience, $50,000 - $65,000 Annually/DOE
