Full time position for a professional, well-organized person with a great aptitude for customer service and technology.
Main office will be on site at a 100 unit apartment complex. This position will be required to work in a high pace environment and to perform several functions. Individual will be required to be onsite to assist tenants and market/show vacant units.
Responsibilities to include:
New/Potential Tenants: Assist Owners with prospect showings, marketing material. Update accounting software with new leases. Very detailed approval process for prospects with requirement of supporting financials for approval. Help educate new tenants about building and transition them into their new home. Great customer service skills.
Existing Tenants: Help existing tenants understand accounting ledger. Help tenants understand their lease terms and enforce them. Liaison between maintenance and tenant regarding maintenance requests. Ability to use systems to correct tenant statements and be able to communicate to tenants in a professional matter.
Maintenance: Create a positive relationship with vendors. Basic understanding of the general repairs and maintenance that occur on the property. Ability to help explain repairs and help troubleshoot maintenance requests with tenants. Experience to accurately communicate problems to vendors in order to obtain proposals for work. Work with vendors to obtain correct paperwork once work is awarded.
Marketing: Assist the Owner in marketing the property. Respond to online requests promptly and follow up as needed.
Legal: Stay up to date and follow changes in laws that effect our industry.
Requirements: 1+ years leasing or property management experience. Great customer service skills, ability to multi-task, significant patience to handle upset tenants. Very organized, great computer skills, a positive attitude, ability to find things to do during down time. Extremely dependable and professional.
