Colorado, Denver, 80221 Denver USA

Job Summary: We're on the lookout for a Dispatch Operator who wants to excel in the electrical field. Your role will be to jolt our team into action by coordinating the movements of our electrifying technicians. If you have a spark for organization and a sense of humor that can light up a room, we want you on our team!

Responsibilities:

1. Dispatch Coordination: Channel your inner maestro to schedule and dispatch our electricians to various job sites. It's like conducting an orchestra, but with no batons and a lot of vans and trucks.

2. Communication: Master the art of communication! Keep our technicians and clients current because no one likes outdated circuits or communication breakdowns.

3. Prioritization: Be the wizard who determines which electrical quests are urgent spells and which are mere flickers. Prioritizing and scheduling those that will keep the lights on and keep Colorado safe is a key part of this position.

4. Routing and Logistics: Navigate technician routes like you're playing a game of chess. Optimize moves, plan, and avoid those shocking traffic jams.

5. Documentation: Document like a historian chronicling the epic tales of electrical conquests. Your reports will be the sagas that future generations of dispatchers and current electricians will study! Making sure information is conveyed from one team member to another is critical to our success.

6. Problem Resolution: Channel your inner Sherlock Holmes to solve technician errors and issues.

7. Customer Service: Keep clients positively charged with exceptional service. If they're amped up about a service request, be the superhero who soothes their electrical woes.

8. Emergency Response: Be the superhero we need during electrical emergencies. Your signal? A shining light bulb in the night sky!

9. Technology Utilization: Embrace technology like a superhero embracing their superpowers. Use dispatch software to bring order to the electrical chaos.

10. Permitting: Much of our work requires the approval of the electrical overlords at the local jurisdictions. We’ll train you how to pull these permits, schedule inspections and close out jobs.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in dispatch operations, preferably with a flair for electrical humor.

2. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to appreciate a good electrical pun.

3. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills – the ability to juggle tasks like an expert juggler with glowing LED balls.

4. Effective communication skills, both in serious and electrifying situations.

5. Proficient in using dispatch software and related tools – bonus points if you can program a robot to tell electrical jokes.

6. Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick, informed decisions, even when the voltage is high.

7. Team-oriented with a sense of camaraderie and humor that can light up a room.

8. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules – because in the electrical world, you never know when the next surge will happen.

9. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in dispatch or related fields are a plus, but a knack for humor is non-negotiable.

How to Apply: Excited about joining our team? To apply, submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and qualifications to [email protected]
