Recycling and Job Coaching at our New Westminster Hard-to-Recycle Center

SustainAbility Recycling is a company that works to fill unmet recycling needs in the Denver Metro area, while recognizing that we all have gifts and talents to contribute to our community and our planet. What we do:

SustainAbility is partnering with the City of Westminster to open a new Hard-to-Recycle drop off center located at 88th Ave and Harlan St. The center will accept over 40 items from the public including electronics, Styrofoam, paint and plastic film. Our work includes job coaching and supervision of individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities while they perform their work.

The position(s) we are seeking:

Vocational Specialist

Job coach/supervise individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) with their daily work tasks including customer service, the exchange of money, weighing, processing, and categorizing materials that come into the drop-off site. Additional duties include communicating materials movement to and from the warehouse, warehouse organization and taking daily notes on crew member progress.

Schedule: (one FT position and one PT position)

Monday through Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm (FT)

Friday and Saturday 7:30am – 3:30pm (PT)

Pay rate: $19.00/hour

Benefits: 4 weeks PTO, 6 sick days, Paid Holidays, 2 Flex Holidays, Medical benefits, 401k match after 1st year
