Job Title: Upholsterer

Job Summary:
Crown Seating is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Upholsterer to join our production team. The Upholsterer will be responsible for installing various fabrics to chair and stool components according to company specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Upholster seats, backs, and arms accurately, thoroughly, and quickly to approved specifications.
Apply and trim foam parts to chair and stool frames.
Read and interpret technical drawings, customer orders, and work instructions.
Perform quality control checks.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Report any faulty components or manufacturing issues to the supervisor.
Follow safety guidelines and company procedures.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools and air powered staplers and glue sprayers.
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Good physical stamina: Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Dependable, punctual, flexible, and able to work both independently and in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in cutting fabric using patterns and sewing upholstery parts.
Experience in wood or metal furniture assembly.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred.
Forklift certification or other relevant training.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
