Air Force Filter is a leading wholesale supplier and manufacturer of air filters in the Denver metro area. We are seeking a Production Sewer and Fabrication Associate in our warehouse located at 2nd and Bryant Street in Denver, Colorado.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience as an industrial sewer or production environment required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are desired.
Is legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Speaks and understands English well.
Job Duties:
Operate industrial Walking Foot Sewing Machine.
Assemble and sew custom sized air filters – straight line cuts and seams.
Ability to read, and comprehend, and identify materials to complete work orders.
Understand measurements and read a tape measure proficiently.
Ensures sewing quality meets written specifications; notifying supervisor if clarification and additional resources are needed.
Maintains quality by inspecting finished product.
Prepares machine by changing needles and thread; securing attachments.
Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions, notifies supervisor of service needs.
Assist in the production of air filters as needed - operate industrial stapler : paper cutter : small hand tools
Hours: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
Pay: $20 to $22 Hour w/ Potential Increase after 90 Days
