Atlas Pet Company is hiring for 25-30 hours/wk in Golden @ $24/hr, cutting rope and assembling dog leashes & collars (using a drill to attach rope clamps to rope in a jig). After a 10min intro call, you’d come in for 3-4 hours (paid) to get an idea of what the role is like, while actually making products. It’s a job we don’t expect experience in, but we do expect you to care about the products you’re making. We also understand manufacturing 20-40hrs a week isn’t everybody’s thing, so the sample shift helps to show you what it’s like.
YOU WILL:
- Assemble specific products according to weekly Manufacturing Order
- Operate an electric screwdriver to assemble rope clamps using a jig to deliver the highest quality product possible
- Operate a machine designed to measure and cut rope & webbing to specific lengths
- Operate a laser cutter to cut fabric for the sewing team
- Operate a labeling machine to create packaging
- Package and label individual products
- Complete all warranty repairs from products that have been damaged
- Count inventory of raw materials
- Other production/packaging duties as needed

This position starts at $24/hour for 25-30 hours/week. We're a small team of five that's constantly trying to improve our processes to keep up with growth. New ideas on how to improve processes are valued and encouraged.
While relevant experience is great to know about, we'll train anyone with the right attitude.
