Job Title: Outreach Collaborator

Job Summary:

We're looking for a creative, skilled, and clear communicator to join us as our Outreach Collaborator.

We are a small team at a private occupational school offering courses in bodywork and healing modalities. We'd love to welcome someone who enjoys connecting with others.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be increasing our exposure via multiple (and creative) avenues:

-Posting to our social media accounts - unique and our recycled content

-Creating regular short videos with our director (to use on social media, our YouTube Channel, our website)

-Getting us on podcasts, in publications, in massage schools/other businesses to speak

-Helping us sublet some of our space (Offices and Classrooms) – Supporting tenant relations, and contract negotiation process. Writing ad content for rental ads on various sites. Brainstorm ways to find mountain or out-of-town potential sub-letters, as well as researching and initiating contact with like-minded folks who might be interested in renting the classroom.

-Supporting us with our blog, newsletter, and improving our website SEO if you are well-versed.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

-Social media experience, including creating content in Canva (or similar) and writing post content

-Experience making and / or editing video clips

-Writing / Interviewing / Podcast experience/knowledge desirable

-SEO experience/knowledge desirable

-Creative, clear and effective communicator.

-Resourceful and comfortable communicating with a variety of people in different roles. (Vendors, Business Owners, Editors, Influencers)

-Enjoys collaborating and connecting with others.

-Comfortable as a team member on projects, and also taking the lead on projects within skillset.

-Proficiency in administrative tasks related to the Outreach Collaborator role

DETAILS

-15 hours/week to start. [We do not expect that someone could do all of the above in 15 hours only. There is plenty to do and the hours can and probably will increase.]

-Work hours are mostly flexible but we will need to collaborate, so weekday hours are best.

-Must own car and come to office at least once weekly. At least 50% of hours can be completed remotely.

This is an employee position.

Pay is hourly and based on experience.
