We have a small retail music shop & studios. We are seeking a Contract Sales and Marketing personto join our team!You will be responsible for selling and managing our advertising and product updates.
Responsibilities:
Growrevenue with new and existing clients
Create and deliver sales presentations to clients
Manage leads and follow ups
Collaborate with marketingon lead quality and conversion
Track and manage marketing, ads and postings
Answer customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Organize client correspondence and paperwork
Work with Director in planning and promoting events
Qualifications:
Previous experience in sales, advertisement, or other related field
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to build rapport with clients
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to be organized and work independently
Good computer skills to check email and do research on products, etc
experience posting in Social Media preferred
Website experience preferred
Playing piano, guitar or other instrumentwill be extremely helpful but not required.
This job will start as a contract position and will pay commission only based on sales for the store. We can negotiate some work to be paid on an hourly basis.Required to be onsite once per week to learn the product,train and visualize for marketing purposes. Follow ups, postings, and updating products can be done remotely. This job is ideal for a semi-retired person, student, parents with kids in school, wanting to supplement your income,or simply interested in exploring the music retail world.
