A full-service intellectual property law firm is looking for a Patent Prosecution Legal Assistant for their Denver, CO office.Requirements:10+ years of experience with National Phase FilingPatent heavy roleBA degree and paralegal certificateMust live in Colorado (Denver area)Preference for contract-to-hire, open to direct hireMUST be familiar with electronic case management and USPTO rulesDuties & Responsibilities:Manage filing of design patent, and utility patent applications in the United StatesUpdate and maintain docket with respect to new filingsMUST be able to jump in and work independently without much supervisionOpen files and prepare documents for filing:Patent applications, Preliminary Amendments, Information Disclosure Statements, Responses to Missing Parts, Assignments, Amendments, payments of Issue FeesMaintain client portfoliosSalary: $80-$100k/yr.Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package offered by the firm!
