Warehouse/Delivery Driver
Scherer Metals does Custom Sheet Metal Fabrication. We're looking to fill the Warehouse/Delivery Driver position with a Self-Motivated, Team-Player, that has a Positive Attitude and Drive, to put in a solid days work - everyday.
For this position you will help maintain the Warehouse, and frequently Pick-up and Deliver materials.
You will Collaborate with the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor to coordinate a daily pick up and delivery schedule.
Key Duties May Include, but are not Limited to:
Maintaining a Clean and Efficient Warehouse
Operate vehicles Safely, Responsibly, and Effectively
Receive incoming material, unload it, and properly stage it
Accurately complete all paperwork
Operate a forklift safely and responsibly
Prepare orders for outside services, pickups and/or deliveries
Perform daily inspections on vehicles, and keep track of maintenance
Qualifications:
Ability to drive a 12' flat bed truck
Ability to lift 50lbs., Repeatedly
Reliable and Dependable
Possess a Standard Drivers License with clean MVR - Copy of MVR required for hire.
Previous Warehouse and Forklift experience is preferred
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of Metal Types and Gauges is a plus
This position starts at $20.00, and includes Fully Paid Health and Dental Insurance, after 90 days. This positions schedule is M-F 6:00am -2:30pm, and Pay Periods are Weekly.
