We are a construction company who's quickly growing and getting busier by the day. We are looking for someone knowledgeable and dependable to work our mid-morning to evening shift as a semi truck tire tech. MUST HAVE 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE CHANGING, REPAIRING, ETC of semi truck and trailer tires. Part-Time and Seasonal Positions Available!
This is a full time position 40 hours a week with some possible overtime depending on work load. We will supply service truck for use DURING shift if needed.
Qualifications/ skills wanted:
Perform service, "change," repair semi truck tires
Basic Knowledge of/and performs service, repairs and maintenance on semi-trucks and trailers in accordance with Department of Transportation and company policies, standards and codes
Follows our company safety rules: utilizes protective clothing and equipment, reports safety hazards and incidents to supervisor
Attend safety meetings
Completes required paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
Reviews, completed repairs as identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports and work orders.
Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with company and OSHA standards.
Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned, with the ability to transition in a quick manner if needed.
Basic Knowledge of end dump hydraulic systems
Basic Knowledge of 10,13, 18 speed transmissions
Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
Must be professional, dependable, hardworking.
Must be punctual
Must be knowledgeable and skilled in preventative maintenance and be able to perform all repairs on semi-trucks and trailers
Must be able to document all work performed and D.O.T repairs
Must be able to diagnose and repair any electrical issues on trucks or trailers
Must be able to repair trailers, replace tarp arms and tarps, and diagnose any other issues.
Perform D.O.T. inspections (Training provided for right candidate)
