We’re looking for current or future horticulturists to join our staff in caring for live tropical plants in our clients’ accounts throughout the Denver Metro.

Please review the job description below carefully. If you think you’d be a great fit, we want to hear from you! Send us a personalized description of why you think you'd be a great fit and attach your résumé in your response + pics of your plants (and their names if they have them, which of course they should). This is your first job task!

Position Summary:

As a Plant Technician, you will be maintaining plants and forging relationships at some of our most valued client accounts.

What your day will look like:

A typical day begins at 8:00AM at our Denver HIVE, you’ll then follow a predefined route that will see you caring for live plants and living walls in offices, hotels, hospitals, and restaurants around the Denver metro. At each location you will be accountable for the proper evaluation, watering, dusting, and trimming each plant to uphold our standards for health and appearance, all while interacting with our clients in a friendly and professional manner. Your day will end back at our shop and you are out the door by 4:30pm. Our normal work week is Tuesday through Friday, with most techs getting at least 20 hours per week. Our dress code is khakis and a company shirt. You should be neat and clean to complete the look as we have professional clients.

You'll need to have your own dependable vehicle to drive from one location to the next.

You'll need to be detail-oriented to spot potential and actual issues that pop up from time to time, effective in your communication with management, and thorough in your follow through with both our clients and the management team.

Job Responsibilities:

- Be the face of Plant Escape to our clients. You must be friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, tidy, and professional;

- Be a responsible human who shows up ready to work. Have pride in the work that you do, and own your work product;

- Be open to feedback, be ready to learn, be open to coaching;

- Learn our clients’ names and check in with them by name when you arrive at each account;

- Wear a company provided uniform, present yourself in a neat and professional manner;

- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Must be a legal US citizen or be authorized to work in the US

- Must have a working smartphone and be fluent in its use to log your work via our work tracking app.
