What You'll Be Doing:
A Make-Ready Technician performs the work necessary to make a home ready for our next residents, delivering on our resident commitments of exceptional move-ins and total satisfaction. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in performing quality work, and can work independently while being part of a larger team. As part of a skilled team responsible for maintaining a portfolio of apartment communities, you'll be at the forefront of reshaping maintenance work in the multifamily industry. Strong performers are recognized and rewarded with growth opportunities, turning this role into a pathway to a successful career. Daily responsibilities include:
Repairing or replacing appliances, faucets, entry locks, and other apartment fixtures and performing some light carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC work.
Drywall repairs, wall painting, caulking, and grouting.
Flooring (vinyl, tile) repairs or installation and carpet cleaning.
Using a mobile app for documenting time, performing inspections, and communicating with the local teams.
Assist with common area scheduled maintenance work and snow removal as required.
Local travel within the portfolio. You may not always start or end your day in the same place.
Participation in the after-hours on-call rotation for select communities in the portfolio
What You'll Need to Thrive:
Experience in trades such as HVAC, Plumbing, Painting, Carpentry, Electrical, or related fields is highly valued. A background in residential or commercial property management is also beneficial
Customer service experience
High School diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to travel between communities
Willingness to learn and use technology for task management and documentation
Effective communication skills
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
Maintain an up-to-date Smartphone
Salary:$23.38 to $28.06/hour
Eligible for a monthly team performance reward, recognizing and rewarding your hard work
The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm with on-call rotation for evenings and weekends as assigned
