Empire Park is seeking an experienced Commercial Building Maintenance Supervisor to manage a portfolio of five commercial properties in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on supervisor with strong technical skills and leadership abilities, overseeing a team of two maintenance technicians. This role includes full benefits after a 3-month probationary period.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of building maintenance operations, planning, scheduling, and coordinating with technicians to ensure optimal performance of building systems, equipment and facilities.
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Responsibilities include tasks such as changing ballasts, light fixtures adjusting thermostats and troubleshooting HVAC issues as the arise.
Assist in snow removal efforts on the property, coordinating with the snow removal company to ensure walkways are safe.
Assist with vendor management and ensure that outside contractors adhere to company standards.
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner, prioritizing urgent issues as needed.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and scheduled inspections.
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies, with responsibility for being on call every third week.
Qualifications:
A minimum of three years of experience in commercial building maintenance or a related field
Strong technical knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver’s license
High school diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree, trade school certification, or some college coursework in a related field preferred
