Greetings,
We are a small high end garden maintenance and design company based out of Littleton, Colorado. We have been in business for 9 years now and have established clientele throughout South and central Denver. We take pride in customer service, attention to detail, our high level of integrity and our knowledge base.
Since Spring is upon us, we are currently seeking new garden helpers and a strong Lead for our maintenance team. Both positions are seasonal beginning in April and ending at the end of November. Staff members are hired as 1099 sub contractors and are responsible to withhold their own taxes. If you have plant knowledge, enjoy working in beautiful gardens and enjoy work with your hands, please learn more about our openings. We know this company will add value, adverse training, and enjoyment to your green thumb!
Team Lead: Starting at $25-$30/hr depending on job experience with seasonal bonuses
We are looking for the right candidate to help the owner run the maintenance business. This position requires a brief resume, background check and 3 job references. This position would be perfect for someone with past experience in management, landscaping, irrigation tech, restaurant work and customer service. This is a large position to fill and requires a lot of responsibility and trust. This individual will be working closely with the owner and will be helping her manage the daily operations of the business. Please note that this position will begin in April and will be rather part time at first, 10-20/hrs per week. In the Spring our days begin at 9 AM and will end between 2-4 PM. As the season begins to pick up in May, we will be juggling both design installations and maintenance clients. Our days will then begin at 8 AM and might run until 5-6 PM Monday - Friday. This schedule will continue through mid to late June. By the end of June we will be settling into our routine garden maintenance schedule. At this time the owner will have trained the lead to take over most of the accounts with the team. August and September tend to slow down because it’s hotter and the gardens stop growing. Start time will still be 8 AM and our days will end between 3-4 PM depending on the schedule for that day. During this time we focus on detailing, weeding and pruning. By mid October we are beginning to cut the gardens back and we preform leaf clean ups through the end of November.
We have built a well oiled machine and have a high demand for our work. In return we get to choose who we want to work for, making sure their energy aligns with our passion to serve. If you feel connected to apply for this position, please respond thoughtfully, include your resume, a few references and a time to connect. We would also love to know what your favorite plant is and why. Knowing these extra details shows us that you are thoughtful, follow instructions and take pride in your work. Thank you for your interest in our Dream Team Lead position. -Ashley Lynn & Office staff
