The Door Store is seeking a qualified individual to add to our team. We are currently seeking to fill at least one position in our installation department. Please note that is not for window installation.
Door Installer- Qualified Exterior/Interior door installer with a minimum of 3 years installing doors. Responsibilities will include; material handling of both finished and unfinished product, removal of existing door units, installation of new door units and all associated material to include, trim, hardware, insulation. Must have experience with power tools (miter saw, table saw, routers), nail guns, drills. All major tools are provided and supplied on company vehicle. Must provide your own hand tools.
Applicant must be able to think outside the box, and be able to troubleshoot issues on the job to include making additional trim as needed. Experience in field sanding/finishing is helpful. New installation will include all trim, hardware, weatherstripping, caulking, paint/stain touch ups. Attention to detail and care area a must as the majority of products are pre-finished/painted. Must have a clean professional appearance with good communication skills as installers deal directly with homeowner/customers.
Current drivers license and clean driving record are require as you will be driving a company truck.
This is a full time 40+ hrs per week position, with overtime offered/required at times. There may be days that will require time in the shop on top of installer duties. This is a W-2 position, no subcontractors. Pay will be based on experience starting at $28.00 hr. Paid holidays, vacation time offered upon completion of 90 day evaluation period.
