KECI Civil is currently seeking experienced Concrete Construction Laborers ($20+) and Finishers ($27+) for flatwork concrete construction. Our work includes earthmoving, road construction, emergency repairs, and more. Most of our jobs are along the front range in the Denver Metro area.
Requirements:
Able to lift up to 30lbs. regularly
Able to stand on your feet for long periods of time
Reliable transportation
Equipment experience a HUGE PLUS but not required for all positions
Responsibilities:
Loading and unloading equipment from truck
Demolition and/or cleanup
Excavation & Gradework
Shoring and bracing
General Labor: shoveling, raking, unload materials, kneeling, lifting
Help Skilled tradesman when required including working with a pipe or concrete crew with Flatwork: medians,
inlets, curb & gutter, sidewalks, ramps, etc.
Participate in daily safety activities
Install permanent traffic signs of various sizes
Assist with the layout, cut, and installation of tape to define crosswalks, lane lines, etc.
Use of various types of equipment (jackhammers, saws, grease guns, pot holers)
Assist with the setting up and taking down standard traffic controls work zones
Work hours can be dependent on weather & contract restrictions
