Job Description:
We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate caregivers to join our team as Weekend Caregivers. As a Weekend Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to our clients during weekends, (AM/PM hours are offered) ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities:
Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
Administer medications according to prescribed schedules.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and assist with feeding as necessary.
Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying up.
Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the client's condition.
Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Compassionate and patient with a genuine desire to help others.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes.
Must be available to work weekends.
