Join us at Rocky Mountain Kidney Care and help serve our adult/geriatric ESRD (End-Stage Renal Disease) patient population in a warm, patient-focused environment.We’re seeking a temporary Medical Assistant to assist our team and ensure a smooth, welcoming experience for our patients and visitors.Key Responsibilities:Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionallyAnswer phones, direct calls, take messages, and provide appropriate informationDistribute and review patient forms for completeness and clarityCheck-in patients: update records, verify insurance, and take ID/photosMonitor and restock patient materials in the lobbyMaintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting areaTrack and report daily visit numbersConfirm appointments and return all calls by end of dayMaintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and OSHA standardsNote: This is a temporary role and not an all-inclusive list of duties.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredAt least 3 years of experience in a direct patient care or front office roleStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to calmly manage challenging situationsComputer and basic office equipment proficiencyValid driver’s licenseWillingness to certify as a Medical Assistant within 6 months (if the role becomes permanent)What We Offer:Competitive hourly pay based on experienceSupportive, team-oriented environmentGreat work/life balanceTraining provided with potential opportunities for growthPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, and stoop for extended periodsMust be able to lift up to 30 lbsReasonable accommodations will be made when neededJoin UsBe part of a team that values compassion, respect, and professionalism.
