Pediatric Dental Office: Dental Assistant (Dental Office Exp Required - minimum of 1 year) Compensation: based on experience Employment type: full-time
We are looking for a dental assistant who is great with kids, personable, radiates positive energy, is a team-leader, knowledgeable in the dental industry and is able to multi-task.
Job duties will be:
- making patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
- sterilizing and organizing dental instruments
- taking x-rays of patients’ teeth
- taking impressions of patients’ teeth for appliances
- skilled in coronal polishing
- proficient in and comfortable with four-handed dental assisting during operative procedures
- advising patients on dental care
Needed Certifications/Licenses:
- Dental Assistant Certification
- Associate degree or certificate from college or technical school
- X-Ray license required
