We need Full Time, Experienced, Hands-On Care Provider for my Husband who is 80.
You would work Mondays, Fridays & Sundays from 7:30am to 8:30pm with 2 half hour breaks.
He has had caregivers since February 2018 and been bed bound since September 2020. You would be part of a team of 3 full time caregivers. We live 5 minutes off of I70 exit 256 near the Buffalo Bill Museum. CNA license is appreciated, but not required. All chef-prepared meals are included!
My Husband needs help with:
Dressing, Grooming and Bed Baths
Repositioning and using a Hoyer Lift
Fecal Incontinence and Emptying Catheter
Vitamin and Supplement Management and Vitals
Companionship
Passive Exercise
Feeding
Wife is Domestically Challenged so we do need help with housekeeping and other domestic duties. We need someone who enjoys and is good at cleaning. You would take care of our home like you would take care of your home, except you can't throw things out :) We also run a business out of our home so occasionally you may help with easy business items.
We are looking for someone who is Reliable, Caring, Patient, Hard-Working, Flexible and Positive to be an important part of our lives!
Must have:
At least 1 year Professional Experience in Caregiving or CNA License. We can train on equipment.
Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation (No public transportation available near our home).
Speak fluent English
Non-Smoker
Legal to work in the United States
A background check including driving record, credit check (doesn't have to be perfect) and a drug test will be run before hiring.
Pay will be $23 an hour. After 90 days, you still start to earn paid vacation time, sick time and paid holidays.
Excellent, Healthy Chef-Prepared Meals included.
This is NOT a Live-In Home position.
