We are a non profit organization that has provided residential services to adults with developmental disabilities for over 28 years. We have an amazing opportunity for someone who wishes to transcend having "just a job" and desires to truly make an impact in the life of one of our amazing clients.
We are looking for an individual or couple without kids, to be a Live In Caregiver or Live In Host Home Provider in one client's home. The client is a gentleman with developmental disabilities. The qualified individual for this position will have their own space in the home. Meanwhile, the client lives in the upstairs area of the home. Caregiver duties include: Meal preparation, appointment scheduling, transportation to appointments, assist with laundry and various other duties. Client attends a day program Monday through Friday which allows caregiver free time during those days. This would be an ideal situation for a Host Home Provider who would like to transition into a residential setting where they do not have to pay rent.
All candidates must be able to pass a background check/drug test and have a valid Colorado Driver's license. They must also have reliable, insured transportation.
It is preferable that they have current CPR certification, current QMAP certification, current Med administration certification. If the candidate does not have all current certifications, it is possible we will consider the applicant, as long as they pass the background/drug test and agree to take and pass all required training in order to perform the job.
The Live In Caregiver/Host Home Provider for this client must be available for the needs of the client just as they would if the client lived in the Live In Caregiver/Host Home Provider's home.

COMPENSATION:
A DAILY RATE FOR THIS CLIENT PAID AT MONTH END.
Daily rate is depending on experience. If Host Home Provider has worked with a catheter and has feeding tube training the daily rate is higher.
ALSO, $2160.00 MONTHLY RENT IS PAID BY US, SO YOU LIVE IN THE HOME RENT FREE. This is a great bonus and saves you money.
All income to a Host Home Provider is exempt from Federal Tax.
All services are paid to Host Home Provider as an independent contractor.
