Job description
We have a great opportunity for an Assisted Living caregiver for our 12 bed assisted living residence in Evergreen, Colorado. We can accommodate part-time or full-time hours, and shift days and times are flexible. We are looking for a responsible and hard-working individual with an upbeat/can-do attitude and a proven ability to work well with older adults. Reliability, dependability, and punctuality are essential traits for this position. The candidate selected must also be able to handle responsibilities with a high level of diplomacy, discretion, and attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES Assisting residents with dressing, toileting, bathing, grooming and feeding as needed Preparing meals Facilitating fun activities with residents Leading exercise class Assisting with meal planning Assisting with shopping Kitchen clean up responsibilities Responding to and monitoring incoming phone calls and correspondence Turning or moving patients Checking vital signs such as blood pressure and heart rate Answering patient calls Documenting patient information Light clean and laundry Assisting with transfers Assist in sending confirmation emails and calendar appointments Provide coverage for other team members who are out of the office on vacation, sick, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS: CNA preferred QMAP required (we can assist you in obtaining this) CPR/first aid required Previous caregiving experience preferred Strong desire to help people Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Results-oriented mindset and ability to execute tasks in a timely manner Strong service-oriented work ethic Must be motivated to have an impact on our company True team player attitude Responsible and hard-working Upbeat/can-do attitude and a proven ability to obtain results Reliability, dependability, and punctuality Able to handle multiple/simultaneous responsibilities with a high level of diplomacy, discretion, and attention to detail Assertive, proactive and communicative
