The Universal breakfast and lunch restaurant is looking for a prep cook to join our team. This position will start with one day a week, specifically Mondays, but will increase as trained and the summer picks up. This is the perfect job for someone looking to pick up extra shifts in the mornings. Shift starts at 7am and ends approximately 12-1 (depends on prep skills)
Rate of pay comparable and DOE. Some line cook and breakfast experience a plus.
Positive communication skills and a teamwork-oriented approach are required.
Basic Requirements:
Experience working in a high volume commercial kitchen
Weekend and early morning availability

Some of the Job Responsibilities include:
-Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
-Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
-Cooks food items to specified recipes and standards.
-Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
-Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
