Toast! Wine and Spirits is looking to fill the role of Part-Time Sales Associate as a stable, positive addition to the community. Toast! is a small, craft-focused boutique bottle shop located near Sloan's Lake in the Highlands neighborhood of Denver.
We are looking for an honest, hard-working, passionate person to join our team. We have been a staple in the Sloan's Lake neighborhood for over 16 years.
We are seeking a part-time Sales Associate for our Craft Focused Wine, Beer and Spirits, and remain enthusiasts. Our customers are like family to us; therefore, excellent customer skills are a must.

Required Qualifications:
Customer Service Skills.
o We are willing to train the right person in the products we carry and about the retail side of the liquor business.
o We like to talk to people about what they're drinking and help build community one conversation at a time.
Customer Engagement.
o This is not the store where you sit on a stool or chair behind a counter.
o We engage with each and every customer who walks through the front door and help them find what's right for them on each and every visit.
Having Fun is a Must!
o We are a small staff, who has fun.
o We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we do work hard.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of the hospitality industry
Knowledge of Spirits, Beer, and Wine
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to earn a little extra per week and who would also like to educate themselves on spirts, wine, and beer of the retail side of the industry trade.

Position Requirements:
This is a position for days, nights, weekends, and some holidays.
o Please do not apply if you cannot meet the requirements for availability.
o Our store is open:
11am-8pm Monday through Thursday.
11am-9pm Friday and Saturday.
11am-7pm Sunday.
o Part-time employment includes three (3) to four (4) days a week, for six (6) to eight (8) hour shifts.
Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
Have knowledge and/or a growing interest or passion for wine, beer and small-batch spirits.
Be able to work closely with others and enjoy being part of a team environment, but also comfortable with working independently
Maintain and grow relationships with coworkers and customers, (we are a neighborhood store, so this is imperative)
Be friendly and positive. Our motto is "just be nice."
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
Walk up and down stairs while carrying heavy cases of product.
Climb a ladder to reach products overhead.
Remain on your feet throughout the shift.
Restock shelves throughout shift, especially at end of day.
Closing duties, such as light cleaning, closing the cash register, and end of day financials.
Be motivated, able to multi-task, and work with minimal instruction, but still able to take direction when it is given.
Experience with a POS system, as well as some computer knowledge, and experience running a cash register.
Don't take yourself too seriously, have fun, but work hard and be respectful.
Be able to work weekends, some days, evenings, and holidays.
We are always closed on Christmas Day and New Years Day, and we close early on most major holidays.
We understand employees have a life outside of work, and we do our best to accommodate all schedules, but it is important that the applicant is available some days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
