Waldschanke Ciders & Coffee is a family-owned specialty Hard Cider taproom, Coffee house and Restaurant found in the Sunnyside neighborhood of Denver, CO. We are looking to hire a dependable team member who is not only an experienced Cook, but who is able to work independently. Waldschanke is a very community-driven business, and we rely heavily on local support. Our new team members will have to engage with our community in a genuine and caring way.

Now hiring Line Cook, 2 years’ experience (required). Customer Service Focused, Social/People Skills. We are looking for a flexible, Part – Full Time employee.

Job Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to: Evening shifts – Open Kitchen

Kitchen setup, cleaning and prep work as needed.

Greet and engage customers as they order at the kitchen window.

Ability to gauge customers’ preferences.

Maintain and stock supplies, napkins, condiments, boats, plates and flatware.

Keep the equipment working by following operating instructions. Preventive maintenance and reporting any maintenance needs.

Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.

Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)

Communicate customer feedback to managers.

Must be 21+ years of age as the kitchen is part of the taproom/bar.

Basic math skills

Strong organizational skills

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.

General technology competency (email, POS software, Scheduling platform, text)

Education: High School, GED or Equivalent.

Job Type: Part Time – Full Time

Kitchen Serving Hours:

Breakfast Monday – Sunday 7am – 12 noon

Lunch – Dinner – Monday – Friday 4pm – 8pm / Saturday 1pm – 8pm / Sunday 1pm – 7pm

Working hours extend for events, kitchen set up, closing procedures and coverage for team members – time off. We work as a team during closing requirements. Bartenders/Barista and Cooks work together to complete closing tasks.
