Moodswing is hiring for a GENERAL MANAGER
Compensation: $90-100K, plus bonus
Moodswing is seeking a General Manager to assist in opening and leading the operations of this new social, community hub. Moodswing blends coffee/coworking, an Italian inspired kitchen, two full service bars, pickleball, and local culture in one space. We love hospitality and want everyone to walk away with an unforgettable experience that goes beyond day-to-day service.
JOB SUMMARY
We’re looking for a driven and entrepreneurial General Manager to lead daily operations, manage a high-performing team, and deliver an exceptional guest experience. This role requires a strong sense of ownership, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead with both professionalism and heart. With the site spanning over 3.5 acres, including 40,000+ indoor sqft and 35,000+ outdoor patio/pickleball space, organization and clear communication will be paramount. You’ll be empowered to make key decisions across staffing, operations, sales, marketing, and service. Treat it like you own it.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
Lead and support all staff (5+ Managers and 50+ Staff), creating a positive and productive work culture
Recruit, hire, train, and develop the management team
Oversee scheduling, uniforms, performance evaluations, and goal setting
Foster strong communication and teamwork across all departments
Conduct regular staff meetings and maintain an open-door policy
Operations & Guest Experience
Ensure smooth daily operations across all departments
Uphold Moodswing standards for service, cleanliness, and safety
Oversee guest experience for hundred, potentially thousands, of guests from pre-arrival through departure every day
Manage events, property maintenance, and project completion
Maintain public spaces, inventory levels, and safety protocols
Finance & Administration
Collaborate with the ownership team on business strategy and planning
Manage budgets, forecasts, payroll, and financial reporting
Monitor expenses and optimize resources
Oversee compliance with licensing and procedures
Keep accurate records and ensure the timely completion of projects
Communication
Act as the main liaison between Moodswing and the ownership team
Respond promptly to guest feedback and communicate updates to staff
Represent the property professionally in all interactions
Stay informed on industry trends, local happenings, and best practices
